Week Six Devotional: How then Shall We Live?
In Chapter Ten, Francis writes: “What will people say about your life in heaven? Will people speak of God’s work and glory though you? And even more important, how will you answer the King when He says, “What did you do with what I gave you?”

Week Five Devotional: Magnificent Obsession
In Chapter Eight, Francis describes what being obsessed (to have the mind excessively preoccupied with a single emotion or topic) looks like when we are obsessed with the Kingdom of God. He describes them as lovers, risk takers, friends of all, crazy ones, humble, servers, givers, sojourners, the engrossed, unguarded ones, the rooted, the dedicated, and sacrificers. The Bible calls us to be consumed with Christ and to faithfully live out His Word, and not to hold back.

Week Four Devotional: GPS Check!
In Chapter Four, Francis asks some hard-hitting questions: “Has your relationship with God actually changed the way you live? Do you see evidence of God’s kingdom in your life? Or are you choking it out slowly by spending too much time, energy, money, and thought on the things of the world?

Week Three Devotional: The Reward of Love
In Chapter 3, Francis writes: “The irony is that while God doesn’t need us but still wants us, we desperately need God but don’t really want Him most of the time. He treasures us and anticipates our departure from this earth to be with Him — and we wonder, indifferently, how much we have to do for Him to get by.”

Week Two Devotional: Living with the End in Mind
From start to finish, the movie of life is about God. He is the main character. Francis writes: “We have only our two-fifths-of-a-second-long scene to live. I don’t know about you, but I want my two-fifths of a second to be about my making much of God.”

Week One Devotional: The Knowledge of God
If what we think about God is the most important thing about us, then we must know Him rightly for who He is, not just who we experience Him to be; we don’t get to decide who God is.
